Tradewinds was founded in 1997 with the objective of connecting flower buyers directly with flower farmers in order to get the freshest and highest quality flowers to market more quickly. Over these 25 years, we have invested in people and technology and relationships to provide our member and farm partners with the most efficient way to find, buy, sell and transport flowers. We are fanatical about growing flower consumption in North America and do our best to help deliver quality flowers and good prices, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that the end consumer is happy.

JENNIFER BIDDLE

PRESIDENT

Jennifer is the driving force behind Tradewinds, leading innovation, optimizing operations, and strengthening freight logistics. No moss grows on her as she likes to keep things rolling and is always looking for ways to improve how we serve our members and farms.

Favorite Flower? Her spirit flower is a Cloni Pon Pon ranunculus for its unusual colors and ruffled elegance.

PAUL HARRIS

SALES + PURCHASING

Paul is the master locator and buyer. He knows the farms intimately, can pull flowers out of a hat, and will guide you through the process of getting started with the Tradewinds program.

Favorite Flower? When not at work, Paul dabbles in peonies and has a great respect for the Minuet peony whose size is a shear wonder.

CARLA RAMIREZ

OPERATIONS + E-COMMERCE

Carla’s job description really should be “mil usos” which means “does everything” but her specialty is e-commerce. She is there to assist you with all things related to Cut Flower Trader and Florist Retail Direct.

Favorite Flower? Born and raised in southern California, Carla loves the Starfighter Oriental lily because it reminds her of starfish and the ocean.

VANESSA JARAMILLO

SALES + PURCHASING

Vanessa has experience in every facet of the flower industry working in sales and procurement for over 20 years. There's not much that she doesn't know or can't find. Consider her a part of your team.

Favorite Flower? The Matthiola incana has been a favorite because of its delicious scent but Vanessa does really love Antique Hydrangeas as well.

KACI ANDERSON

SALES + MARKETING

Kaci handles our sales and marketing. She works with both the farms and customers to make sure everyone’s flower buying and selling experience feels seamless.

Favorite Flower? She loves Dark Blue Sea Waltz Delphinium because it is bold, cheerful, and always stands out.

LINA RESTREPO

LOGISTICS

Lina brings a wealth of experience as an industrial engineer and process analyst to her position. She is taking the tracking and assigning of your boxes to the next level. Reach out to Lina with your logistical needs.

Favorite Flower? The Carina mum reminds Lina of family and gives her a beautiful feeling of peace and freedom.

BERENICE REYES

ACCOUNTING

Berenice is our accounting manager extraordinaire. She is the go-to for any questions regarding your statements and payments.

Favorite Flower? If you want to see a big smile on Bere, bring her a bouquet of her favorite lilac blush hydrangeas and you won’t be disappointed.

ALEJANDRA GARCIA

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Alejandra wears many hats in our office and is an administrative wonder. She can help you with invoices, statements, Cut Flower Trader, and just about anything.

Favorite Flower? With Alejandra, you can’t go wrong with purple and Ocean Song roses in pale lavender hit her soft spot.

MARTHA ANTOLIN

INVOICES

Martha's keen attention to detail comes in very handy as she is responsible for making sure all invoices get routed to the right place, posted correctly, and finds any that are missing. She's there to help with you any of your invoice questions.

Favorite Flower? Martha loves hydrangeas because they look like a mini bouquet of butterflies.

GEORGE BIDDLE

LOGISTICS

George is our logistics man and all about customer service. Have a special request, reach out to George for his assistance.

Favorite Flower? George admires the pincushion protea for its unique structure and other worldliness.

FRANK BIDDLE

HONORING OUR FOUNDER

Frank Biddle started Tradewinds Intl nearly 30 years ago with a mission to bridge the gap between flower growers and buyers. His strong relationships in South America combined with his wellspring of industry knowledge allowed him to build a company that does exactly that.

Frank was our chief innovator, solution finder, and freight wonder up until his passing in June 2025. He confidently left Tradewinds in the capable hands of Jennifer Biddle and our dedicated team. The Tradewinds mission didn’t end with Frank - it began with him.

Favorite Flower? The Crystal Flame rose which Frank named after his favorite Blues Traveler song.
